Mark Your Calendars
for Advanced Foster Parent Training - The Third Saturday
in Each Month
One of the key benefits of being a FaithBridge foster parent is
free advanced training to sharpen your parenting
skills. Advanced training is always held on the third
Saturday of each month. These workshops provide
hands-on, practical learning experiences foster parents can use in
everyday parenting of our special children. Trainings focus on
pertinent issues such as parenting teens or large sibling groups,
working with children coming from traumatic backgrounds and
in-depth behavior management and discipline strategies--allowing
our families to be better equipped and more effective as foster
parents. Five hours of the certified training will be offered per
training.
