Eastside Baptist Church opens Community of Care and provides Cobb County offices to Cornerstone

May 2008 - Cornerstone Family Services announces the addition of Eastside Baptist Church (EBC) in Marietta to the Cornerstone family. Six foster families stepped forward and began training so that they can have foster children placed in their homes. A strong, supportive Community of Care is developing around these families, as church members are anxious to be a part of the ministry. EBC has also provided office space to Cornerstone staff as our Cobb County office.

Pastor David Chauncey said, "We believe Eastside exists to make passionate followers of Jesus. Cornerstone ministries instantly excited and engaged my heart as a way for us to express the love of Christ to our community. We are passionate about kids. And we can't simply care about the ones who have everything and come to church in minivans."
