FaithBridge Foster Care hires
chief church relations officer
FaithBridge Foster Care recently hired David
Shaw as Chief Church Relations Officer. Shaw is responsible for
cultivating and developing relationships with church partners and
helping to establish independent, church-based foster care
ministries in Georgia and eventually, across the nation.
Shaw comes to FaithBridge from Coker Group where he served as
senior vice president of business development and chief operating
officer. He has over 25-years' experience in the areas of areas of
strategic planning, conflict resolution, staff development,
marketing and executive search.
Previously, Shaw served as vice president and director of
recruiting Jackson and Coker, where he managed the recruitment
practice for the company, overseeing the placement of over 200
physicians per year in hospitals and group practices. In addition
to Jackson & Coker, he held senior level positions at The
Corban Group, an Atlanta-based recruiting firm; HCCA International
Nurse Staffing in Nashville and Private Business, Inc (now Jack
Henry), which provides accounting software for community banks.

team."
In addition to his sales and operations experience, Shaw has
strong personal ties to foster care and to local church ministry.
His single adult daughter and his wife are certified foster parents
of a toddler and adoption proceedings are underway. He has
taught adults, worked with individuals struggling with addiction
recovery and worked in the mentoring ministry at his local
church.
Shaw and his family live in Alpharetta and attend North Point
Community Church.
