There are more than 10,000 Georgia children in
foster care and 118 in Spalding County. In addition, there
are less than half of the necessary foster families to serve
them. Find out how the local church and individuals can serve
Griffin's foster children. In addition to becoming a foster
parent, there are many ways to get involved, such as volunteering
to assist with clothing, material goods, transportation, and
more. Find out all of the ways to become involved at the
orientation on February 28.
"We are excited to have the Griffin First
Assembly of God to step up alongside local service providers to
help children who need loving, stable families," said Bill R.
Hancock, founder and president of FaithBridge Foster Care. "By
deploying an unparalleled service and support system, this church
and the individuals who open up their homes and their hearts have
the potential to change the way Spalding County does foster
care."
This new ministry is in partnership with
FaithBridge Foster Care, a Christ-centered, tax-exempt organization
