August 2008 - Cornerstone Family Services announces a strategic partnership and alliance with Jackson Healthcare and Jackson Family Foundation. As the Cornerstone story, vision, strategy and business model were presented to the Jackson Family Foundation earlier this year, we found that we shared the same vision: to change the way foster care is delivered to "the least, the last and the lost." As a result of that shared vision, the Jackson Family Foundation agreed to assist CFS to achieve its vision and make it one of the philanthropic arms of the Jackson Family Foundation.

"We know that this partnership is not of our doing, but the result of divine intervention," said Bill Hancock, founder and president of Cornerstone Family Services. "The support and backing of the Jackson Family Foundation has helped Cornerstone transition from a start-up to a high growth organization. Our mission and focus remain the same, but now, we will be propelled toward realization of our vision much faster than we had planned."

Cornerstone has moved its headquarters to the Jackson Healthcare corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. It also was named to the Inc. 500 list in 2004 and to the Inc. 5000 in 2007 and 2008.
