FaithBridge Makes the Grade

FaithBridge Foster Care holds itself to the highest level in being best-in-class for providing the finest possible care for our communities' foster children. This includes acquiring and maintaining an excellent staff that is professional, pastoral and relational at every level of service.

In December we received our FY 2013 Performance-Based Placement Measures Report Card from the Office of Provider Management, for the first quarter of this fiscal year (July-September, 2012). FaithBridge is pleased to report that our overall 1st Quarter Score was 96.84% (A).

After a three year trial period, on July 1, 2012 our agency became fully responsible and accountable to the State on the established Performance-Based Placement Measures (the Blue Book and GA Score requirements). The grade we receive, based on our performance is publicized and local DFCS offices are encouraged to only refer to high performing agencies.

Our performance and outcomes reinforce our passion towards making a difference in the lives of children and families, as also evidenced by our results just over the last year and since our inception in June 2006.

2012

In 2012 FaithBridge Foster Care approved 23 new foster families and 12 respite families allowing us to further provide Christian care for 81 new placements in addition to the 78 children we currently had in care on January 1, 2012. We also delighted in the positive outcomes of reunifying 58 children with their birth parents and 17 children with a relative placement.

As we continue to grow and explore other markets, we will evaluate opportunities for improvement. We pray daily for those fostering, the children in their care and the many children who are greatly in need of a loving, Christian family. You can help give the gift of family by sponsoring a foster child for $1 a day or $30 a month. Prayerfully consider how God is calling you give this new year.
